Bringing audiences to independent cinema in Europe via digital & social media
Dear colleagues,
As we at BUDA (arthousecinema in Kortrijk, Belgium) want to organize a film project that involves video and livemusic... This will come as the start of our next season (september 2011)... The purpose is to program a 3 day film project in collaboration with music club De Kreun (in Kortrijk) and present short films, documentaries, live performances with visuals, ...
a couple of examples that inspired me

At this point we try to see, read, get information, ... as much as possible about short films, documentaries, rockgroups, ... that might fit in this programmation.
Maybe you guys saw some interesting films, groups, ... at festivals or in your country... If so, don't hesitate to give me links, information, ... Might be useful to get a very nice programmation at the beginning of september... and we can link back to your cinema or festival in return!
O, just one more thing: we aim for a young public and collaborate with music club De Kreun. Therefore, for example, classical music (for those who were at Bologna last year and saw the magnificent performance of a silent movie with concert) doesn't really fit in to this programmation.

I was thinking, you could contact these guys: http://www.myspace.com/lejouff - they are good experimented musicians and they are also used and keen to work with video. Vincent, the leader of the band is a friend of mine- so I know them well.
I know they participated in theatre and film projects already, and they are nice guys :-)..
