Bringing audiences to independent cinema in Europe via digital & social media

The 21st of December is the Winter Solstice. It's a symbolic date as it's the shortest day of the year and therefore the perfect occasion to celebrate short films in all their diversity!

The Short Film Day (Kurzfilmtag) is a celebration for everybody and you can participate at any location!
Be it a film première, children's program, Short Film night or online competition.

On this day, the big screen, television, galleries, clubs  will be taken over by all things short film.
What's more, facades of buildings, living rooms, public spaces and transport hubs will also become places to feature short film.

Be part of Short Film Day!
Show, see and celebrate short films!

All organizers can come up with their own ways of creating, organizing and presenting Short Film Day.
The AG-Kurzfilm, Germany's national short film association will be in charge of the nationwide coordination;
advising all collaborators of events and providing contacts to short film producers and distributors.

Let us know about your contribution!

Be sure to check out all the creative talent from the online arteCREATIVE short production competition!
